Algarve Coast - Where is best?

Hello,

We are planning to spend 7 days in Algarve, Portugal in September.
Will be flying from Faro and looking for a relaxing beach holiday.

We are going to spend one day at ZooMarine in Guia. We do not want to
rent a car.

Can someone recommend a place to stay that will allow us to take buses
to Guia and easily transfer back to the airport. We are much more
interested in the beach then partying or shopping.
