car hire and children travelling in Austria

I believe it is law in austria for children to use a booster seat in
cars - we are visiting at Xmas and are looking to hire a car. We are 2
adults, and 3 children (11,9,7).

anyone any experiences of the above?

any recommedations for car hire from vienna airport?

Correct, it is the law now in all EU countries. Most rental companies
let you order them as an extra when you make a car rental reservation.
Make sure you get a confirmation that you have indeed booked them.
You might also think about ordering winter tyres, depending on where
you are going.
