Cà d'Rot Bed & Breakfast is born to offer a point of reference and of welcom to all who want to travel round our lovely land, to enjoy the restful atmosphere of our hills, and taste the eno-gastronomic delicacies which our land give abundantly
Would you like to spend a wonderful holidays of health or to receive adavantages from thermal baths, in particular from the care of principal respiratory ststem (bronchitis, rhinitis, deafness)? You will find the Thermal Baths of Agliano very near to our bed and breakfast. (4/5 Km.)
We are happy  to go with the hosts, if they desire it, to do some itineraries (Acqui Terme, Alba, Asti...), even cultural such as the Scassa's Tapestry Weaving Mill after to have taken an appointment, or enogastronomic itineraries by the wine-grower co-operative, or private cellars One of our hobbies is cooking ethnic Piedmontease food. If you are lovers of our good Italian cuisine and you would like spend some days with us , we could teach you some recipes and drink together a good glass of wine Barbera! .
VINCHIO seems to spring from the vineyards that surround it, creating a pictoresque landscape.Thanks to the active life of its inhabitants, these vineyards produce great wines such as the Barbera Superiore and the Moscato d'Asti.This area, which somewhere is sandy, offers some treasures like the "asparago saraceno" (Saracen asparagus, name derived by one of the most ancient hillock of the village), the "cardo gobbo" ("bent" thistle, bacause of its particular shape) in the valley, and in autumn the white truffle (precious tuber with a powerful aroma amd, reportedly, aphrodisiac): the king of the truffle.

VINCHIO, offers the possibility to hike in the reserve near our B&B, the Valsarmassa, to all those people who like to do non-conformist holidays (without the obsession of the watch, of the traffic, of the smog, etc…) and to plunge in hte green of the nature.

The village is located in a good central position (from 25 to 35 km. C.a.) from several places such as: ASTI (known, in addition to its Palio - the most ancient in Italy since 1275 - for the DOUJA, for the Festival delle Sagre, for the truffles market, etc), ALBA, ACQUI TERME, and other wonderful vilages of the Monferrato, Langhe and Roero.Vinchio's height is about 350 m over the sea levelIn the first week-end of May, the Sagra dell'Asparago Saraceno (Feast of the Saracen Asparagus) will take place.
