The kitchen in open only to the week-end. All the food are the farm of production, the pasta, the sausages and the salami, the verdures and the wines. Some of the rooms are really very large, most of them have a wonderful view on the garden, the others are side-rooms. The agritourism arises in a rich archaeological area, so rich that still nowadays the farmers living in this zone find, while working in the fields, coins, fragments of pottery, pieces of tools… The first evidence of human settlement in the area are some products in stone that date from the fourth millennium B.C.The early development can be explained by the geographical location of the place which ideally suited it for trading. Over the first millennium B.C. (the Iron Age), the conditions were created for a new and more stable form of population. The ancient Veneti of Altino spoke an Indo-European language. A few unexplored traces of their dwellings remain, as do various necropolii.
Archeological finds do, however, enable us to state that by the second century B.C. there were already forms of urban settlements in the area.

The natural oasis of Trepalade, always in the territory of Altino, owes its fortune to the presence of the River Sile. The plant and animal life along the River Sile is quite unique, and certainly presents a sight that should not be missed. Very interesting are the near ponds, quarries which were obtained when aggregates were extracted for use in building the Venice-Trieste motorway, and are now a habitat comprising water basins surrounded by lush vegetation. Here we find cat’s tail and marsh reeds which are the homes of a wide variety of animal species.
Fish such as a pike, catfish , sunfish and many other breeds swim in the ponds. Terns (beautiful birds which resemble seagulls) may be spotted in flight, and there are also kingfisher, ducks and other types of birds. The area is so delightful that it really deserves to become a nature reserve.

Venice is easily reachable from the hotel. The distance to Venice is 15km. Nearby the structure are two trainstations. One at Gaggio (1km) and one at Quatro d'altino (2km) The train leaves every hour and takes about 20 minutes to arrive in Venice.
