Avalon Boutique Hotel is an intimate medieval retreat located within the fortress walls of the imposing Old Town of Rhodes. Launched in 2007, the property underwent a dramatic reconstruction under the strict supervision of the Archeological Society, with respect to the urban structure and the historical characteristics of the area.

Avalon, combines individual style reminiscent of the past with modern conveniences of higher aesthetics to provide maximum comfort and a luxurious stay.

Avalon consists of 6 suites with a separate living room area, each one uniquely designed and decorated. Warm, modern fine quality textiles blend in harmony with respect to medieval ambience and antique pieces.
Each suite opens to private veranda enjoying views of the medieval city or the port of Rhodes. The A la Carte Avalon restaurant, is situated on the ground floor in the dome room of the hotel.
Under the sophisticated elegance of the room's dome, soft- toned stone walls, warm candlelight and fresh blossoms you can experience the unrivalled menu of Mediterranean oriented dining at it's best. Original and pure ingredients, herbs and spices work wonders in the hands of our extremely talented chef.

Avalon is situated in the heart of the Medieval Town of Rhodes, on Haritos Street adjacent to the distinctive Knights Street, just a breath away from the famous Grand Masters Palace and across the Spanish Inn.

Historical monuments and attractions such as the Archeological and Byzantine museum, the clock tower, the Suleiman Mosque and the Great Hamam are only 10 minutes away by foot. Go back in time by exploring the Medieval walls , alleyways and picturesque cobbled streets.

A five minute walk can take you to the lively and bustling Socrates Street, the old "bazaar" of the town. Exclusive jewellery shops, trendy boutiques and shops with traditional handicrafts offer an excellent opportunity for shopping. Avalon is only 500 m. away from the new Town of Rhodes, 800 m. from the commercial Port, 13 km from the airport and 45 km. from Lindos village.
