In the beautiful scenery of the hills surrounding Lucca, only 10 minutes away from the old historical center of the town, you’ll find the “ Relais Victoria” bed and breakfast. An ancient farm-house built in stonework in the XVII century, has been diligently restored by the new owners, who wanted to save and hold the originary characteristics. The purpose was to create for themselves and for their guests , a special residence, surrounded by wide gardens, fruit trees and colorful plants.
The lobby is a wide room, with old style furniture, where by the old fire-place you will find the right moments for your relax in winter. In the same time, during summer, the old stones of the building will act as “natural cooler” refreshing the atmosphere everywhere.
Every room is provided by old style and elegant furnitures and private bathroom; a large suite is available if you need more room.
The wish of a good day every morning, will be accompanied by a rich breakfast that will be served in the tea room (winter) or in the garden(summer), according to the climate.
In one of the gardens a swimming-pool is projected and the fitness area will be a chance to continue your personal training and get fun .

During the restoration and realization of the “Relais Victoria”, the owners had some constant ideas: elegant, warm and charming, for a pleasure to share.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The guestrooms at Relais Victoria take names from proper names of women: Sara, Chiara, Diana, Anna, Clelia and Victoria.
The rooms can be double/twin, double single use, triple and a large suite is available for who need more room.
Every room with old style and elegant furniture has ample windows that overlook the beautiful countryside and that bring luminosity, all are decorated in a typical Tuscan style with wooden furniture, original beamed ceilings and ancient stone floor.
All the practical amenities that guests will require during the stay are provided: Lcd television (satellite connection), telephone and internet connection, mini-bar, private safe and a desk; every room has private en suite bathroom with shower, towel warmer, call security, courtesy line and hairdryer.
During winter time a warm tepidity radiates from the floor and in summer time the old stones of the building will act as “natural cooler” refreshing the atmosphere everywhere.

Outside: in one of the gardens a swimming pool is on construction and for those who want to continue to train the body even during the vacations, a very well supplied fitness area is available. Parking is easy in a private area.
Pick up service from and to Lucca historical center is provided completely free to our guests.

Motorway A11 Firenze/Mare direction Pisa; Motorway A12 Genova/Livorno direction Firenze, exit Lucca Ovest, continue to Viareggio(SS 435) and follow the signs “Relais Victoria” along the way.
BY TRAIN:
from Lucca train station every 5 minutes a bus line service to Piazzale Verdi. Then bus n. 56 to Arliano/Solferino. Once in Solferino, previous appointment, our pick-up service will take you to “Relais Victoria” in a very few minutes.

On the time of its construction the farm-house was built in a way to be completely surrounded by the green, in order to reach in only 10 minutes the Lucca historical center and in only 20 minutes the wonderful “Versilia”, famous place for Italian summer vacations with its nice and elegant restaurants and discotheques.
To better know about Pisa you can reach it in only 15 minutes by car; the town is provided by easy opportunities of parking.
For the lovers of nature, in the province of Lucca and 40 minutes away by car, you’ll find the “Garfagnana valley”. This region offers a great variety of landscapes, from the top of mountains all around to sweet and low hills. Many small villages of the middle age where old traditions and tales talk of the two elves and goblins typical of the area, such as “Linchetto” and “Buffardello”.
Lovers of winter sports, in only 1 h. away by car can reach the “Abetone”, very well known Italian sky station.
