Il Carmine is located on the top of Mount Erice, and it is an oasis of peace completely compatible with the history and the characteristics of the medieval town of Erice. It was a Monastery of Carmelitani friars but now thanks to a reconversion work our guests can stay in very comfortable rooms.

All our rooms are equipped with the following comforts:

How to reach us:

From Palermo/Palermo airport (Punta Raisi – Falcone Borsellino):
- Take A29 Motorway towards Trapani (exit Trapani);
- at the roundabout turn right towards Erice for about 600 mt;
- at the crossroad go straight on into Strada Provinciale Torrebianca for about 1,7 Km;
- at the STOP sign turn right into SS187 towards Valderice and continue for about 4 Km;
- turn left into Via Sabaudia and continue for 400 mt;
- at the STOP sign turn right into Via Erice and continue for about 6,4 Km;
- turn left in Viale delle Pinete and go straight on for about 400 mt;
- then turn right into Piazza Carmine and in front of you you will see Il Carmine Hotel.

From Trapani (port, old town centre):
- from Via Ammiraglio Staiti go eastward for about 500 mt;
- then turn left into Via Mazzini and go straight on for about 400 mt;
- at the traffic light turn left into Via G.B. Fardella and go straight ahead for about 2,5 Km;
- at the traffic light turn right into Via Convento S. Francesco di Paola and go straight ahead for about 300 mt;
- then turn left to go in Via Argenteria and go straight on for about 7,1 Km;
- turn left into Via Sabaudia and continue for 400 mt;
- at the STOP sign turn right into Via Erice and continue for about 6,4 Km;
- turn left in Viale delle Pinete and go straight on for about 400 mt;
