The inn offers 12 rooms, 1 restaurant, 1 pizzeria, 1 garden for lunch and dinner, 1 relax garden, 1 bar and a TV room with fireplace. It is opposite the Moanstery of Camaldoli and situated within Casentino Forest National Park.

The Restaurant-Pizzeria, elegantly furnished and provided with two big fireplaces, offers dishes and recipes of the best Tuscan tradition, like: hand-made tortelli stuffed with potatoes, hand-made tagliatelle with wild boar ragout, traditional soups (Ribollita and Acquacotta), game meat, Porcini mushrooms and truffle.

The Pizzeria (also take away), is opened every day from morning till evening. Weather permitting it’s possible to eat outside in our garden with view of the forest.

For Ceremonies and banquets the restaurant can host a maximum of 120 people inside and over 150 people outside in the garden.

For the ones who love to pamper themselves, we suggest I Tre Baroni Restaurant, recommended by Michelin, Veronelli, L’Espresso and “Class: best Italian restaurants in Italy” guide books. One of the best restaurants of the area, with an outside pergola which offers a stunning view of the valley and Poppi castle.

La Locanda dei Baroni is situated within Casentino Forest National Park (Mt. Falterona and Campigna), opposite the millenary Monastery of Camaldoli. It is surrounded by more than 88.000 acres of forest (belonging to the Park area), characterized by the richness and variety of its flora and fauna. There are more than 620 km of marked paths (CAI) that will allow you to make excursion by walk or with MTB, horse and Quad within the Park area, discovering incredible natural and artistic treasures. La Locanda dei Baroni is located in the middle of Park main excursion rings: this makes of it the most important accommodation structure of Casentino Forest for excursionists and nature lovers.
