Major religious festivals and cultural events: St. Joseph on March 18 with the creation of altars and the characteristic distribution of flavoured bread and citrus fruits to all visitors; Easter-with the representation of the Way of the Cross; St. Peter on June 29 with the typical fish festival and the carnival parade involving thousands of people

take the highway A29 Mazara del Vallo-Palermo. Continuing towards Palermo is the exit BALESTRATE.

From Palermo take highway A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo. After about 30 minutes drive is the exit BALESTRATE.
From Trapani take highway A29 Mazara del Vallo-Palermo. Continuing towards Palermo for abou 30 minutes there is the exit to BALESTRATE.
