The holiday farm Baglio Fontana is located in Buseto Palizzolo, in the heart of Sicilian countryside, between Trapani, Erice and San Vito Lo capo. At our guests disposal there are eleven rooms available in different kind of accommodations (double, triple e quadruple), which have been created respecting the original features of the rooms, but taking care at the same time about the comforts and the equipment.

The result is a great mix of tradition and modernity, which gives to our guests the sensation to go back in time and history, when the most important activity of Sicily was agriculture, and when the peasant society impressed their rhythm of life to all the island.

The holiday farm is characterized by the wonderful setting in which it is located, in the middle of a large park of olive trees and centuries old trees. Among the comforts of the structure there are a large swimming pool with hydromassage, a sports ground (tennis, five-a-side football, etc.), tennis table equipment , a little fitness centre, a tasting room and our typical peasant civilization museum, where you can find a lot of old farm tools.

The restaurant and the cookery courses
The restaurant is specialized in preparing typical dishes of our traditions, very rich of international contaminations. The served dishes are prepared with local ingredients and/or with products commercialized by our farm (oil, honey, wine, vegetables and fruits). A particular care is taken over the wine list and over the local labels. The holiday farm also has got a room for the tasting of the typical products and for the organization of food-and-wine connoisseurship and Sicilian cookery courses.

The wellbeing centre
Recently the holiday farm has enlarged the offered services with a functional wellbeing centre for its guests. The centre is managed by a specialized staff and it has got an equipped sauna for massages and other treatments. Among the used “ingredients” there are also our farm products, among which the olive oil, the almond oil, the honey and the sea salt.

Tours and excursions
At regular intervals, the holiday farm organizes tours and excursions in the principal places of Western Sicily. Particularly interesting are the excursions by boat (sailing or motor) to the Egadi Islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo) and to the natural reserve of Zingaro and Cofano Mountain (with lunch on board and possibility of divings). The holiday even farm has an agreement with a local manège, which periodically organizes tours on horse in all the country of Erice.

In Baglio Fontana it is also possible to ask for car and bikes rental.

How to reach us

From Palermo and Palermo Airport
- take the highway A29 towards Trapani;
- exit from the highway A29 at Castellammare del Golfo;
- follow the road signes for Trapani for about 3 Km;
- at the crossroad go straight on into SS187 (Viale Umbero I) and continue to go straight ahead for about 15 Km;
- then turn left into SP 52 (Via Palermo) and go straigth ahead for about 3,2 Km;
- on your left you will see the entrance of Agriturismo Baglio Fontana.

From Trapani Airport
- at the roudabout follow the road sign to the motroway A29;
- enter into the motorway A29;
- exit from the highway A29 at Fulgatore;
- turn left into Via Capitano Antonio Rizzo and go straight on for about 300 mt;
- turn right into Via Benuara (SP35) and go straight on for about 3,8 Km and then turn left;
- after about 1,7 Km turn right into Cortile Trenta Salme Ragoleo, and go straigth on for about 3,3 Km;
- then turn left to go into Via Segesta (SP57) and go straight on for about 2,1 Km;
- then turn right into Via Firenze (SP22) and go straight on for about 500 mt;
- then turn right into Via Arciprete Bulgarella and go straight on for about 1,3 Km;
- finally turn left and after about 300 mt on your left you will see the entrance of Agriturismo Baglio Fontana.

From Trapani (port, and old town centre)
- starting from Via Ammiraglio Staiti go eastward for about 500 mt;
- turn left into Via Mazzini and go straight ahead for about 400 mt;
- turn rigth into Via Giovanbattista Fardella/SS113 and go straight on for about 1,4 Km;
- stay on your rigth and continue to follow the SS113 (now it takes the name of Via Conte Agostino Pepoli) for about 1,2 Km;
- turn left into Via Tenente Salvatore and go straight on for about 150 mt;
- turn right into Via Argenteria and go straight on for about 18 Km (follow the SS187);
- at the traffic light turn right tinto Via Andrea Spada and go straight on for about 1,8 Km;
- turn right into Via Palermo and after 200 mt on your left you will see the entrance of Agriturismo Baglio Fontana.
