LOCATION
The hotel 33 baroni set at the crossing between the tourist area and the beaches, at walking distance from the historical center and the train station, close to seafood restaurants and typical restaurants.
Gallipoli, “the pearl” of Salento is formed by the Old town and “il borgo” connected by a XIVth century stone bridge.
The old town is a real island full of masterpieces, beautiful buildings and churches. Encased by impressive XIIIth century steep stonewalls and fortifications, which nowadays runs a scenic road, surrounding the island.

By crossing the bridge, from the old town you arrive to “il borgo”, a peninsula that juts out in the Ionian Sea. You will immediately face a superb ancient Greek-roman fountain, which is the oldest in Italy. Soon after, you will find the transition to modernity: the "skyscraper" or palace of glass marks the entrance to the Corso Roma, the main street, dividing the new town in two. - Westbound: from ss106 – Taranto’s ring road. Exit SS7 toward Brindisi-Lecce. Take SS101 toward Gallipoli. Exit Gallipoli-porto. Take via Lecce, turn right onto Corso Roma, turn left at via Urso, turn the second right onto Via Mazzini. Arrive at the hotel on via Mazzini 23.
- Form Brindisi airport or port (car rental available): After 65 km follow SS613 toward Lecce. Take SS101 toward Gallipoli. Exit Gallipoli-porto.
